I can totally relate the zit thing. I'm pushing 42 and still have a pizza face. I used to have the cyst-like acne when I was younger and yea, I think it's hormonal, that why I'm getting back on my BC pills.
I love your idea about finding free things to do in Dallas. Sorry, I don't know of anything. We leave for Vegas Tuesday and I have no earthy idea where we're going to get any Money. We wouldn't be going if it my SIL wasn't getting married, (oh wait, she's not getting married, but the tickets are nonrefundable.) I just wrote a check to Uncle Sam that will be another overdraft beside the fact that, not counting this trip, groceries and food we are already over $100 in the whole for May.
Anyway, good luck with Dallas. If I lived there I'd definally have you over for ice tea and pound cake.
Oh, and being a hippie want-a-be mommy too try who can't sleep I suggest you stop caffeine (minus that one ya have to have in the am), no sugar, melatonin and sleepy time tea.

We live in the Dallas area. www.gocitykids.com often lists free stuff to do, and there's always lots of free stuff going on throughout the Metroplex. It really just depends on what your family is into.

Some of our visitor standbys are trips to the Dallas Museum of Art (free Thurs nights with a summer concert series), the Modern in Ft. Worth (free on Wed evening, I think), and going to the observation deck at Reunion Tower (the big round ball in the Dallas skyline. Often it's free, but when they do charge, it's $2pp).

All I have seen of Dallas is it's hugh airport. If ya'll ever have to go to Nashville on business I could tell you a ton of free stuff that is available.

I'm in the "lose sleep" camp. I get the zits, but not so much as I get the insomnia. It's horrible. Right now, I'm juggling full time work, 5 kids that home school, 2 church assignments and. . .shoot! I know I have other obligations, but the lack of sleep is rendering me brain dead!

Good luck with your stress and have fun in Dallas!!

I lose lots of sleep over stress, or excitement! I have been up since 4:30 this morning because I was subbing today with 29 kids! I tossed and turned all night!
