  2. I meant Or maybe…

  3. Nope, not it.
    Try again.

  4. I dunno, I’m thinkin. Ow! …thought too hard.

  5. Hint: The book is real.

  6. the role is the life and times of Anna Nicole?

  7. Holley - that book hasn’t yet been written. OH, and you should get this one. The title role is the same as someone close in your family. If you figure out that cryptic hint, then that gives you an unfair advantage.

  8. Clueless as usual.

  9. Mommy Dearest?

  10. No, but that would be a good guess.

The film is Rebecca, and the actress is displeased because Rebecca is dead.
Now give us an easier riddle, please!

  12. Well, you get a half credit. The actress was not just dipleased that Rebecca was dead - she was dead before the story begins, thus the title role Rebecca is never in the movie at all.

But your link is wrong. Here’s the correct link:
the novel Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier and the film (directed by Alfred Hitchcock) by the same title based on du Maurier’s book.

  13. Give another day or two and I’ll have one up. I am so surprised that Vrouw Jonker didn’t come by for this one.
