The Swaps of late
I’m totally behind on all my swap posts. So this one will be a bit of a run on with the last three swaps.
The first one I missed posting about was the CMHS Tote Bag Swap. I totally win the award for Last to Post Photos. Seriously, Internet, this swap was way back in March-ish (near my birthday). So we’ll move on and try to ignore my behind-ness in getting the pictures up and I will not bore you with the reasons (bad photo card) behind my laziness photo upload issues. But better than my lateness award is that I win the award for Coolest Tote Bag Received and DMandPM wins the award for Coolest Tote Bag Given.
I took this tote with me on our trip to Dallas back in June and used it as my all around kid stuff/travel/baby/purse/vacation tote and it was perfect. The size couldn’t be better and the number of compliments it got was over the top. People stopped me everywhere I went to ask about it.
Soon after the CMHS Tote Bag swap was the Blue and Green Summer swap. (Yes, I’m late getting these photos up as well.) I received a tote with this swap as well. Another beauty of craftsmanship from Miss bluejayecrafts herself. I was very secretly excited to get paired up with her. I’d been ogling her Etsy shop for, well, maybe since I first read about it on the Secret Agent’s website.
If you like this tote as much as I do - go get you one ’cause you’re totally NOT getting your hands on mine (although the Eldest seems to think she can).
Now, for the most recent swap participation. This last one kind of bit me in the butt. I had huge plans for this last one, I had it all planned out and then life happened and the budget broke a bit and I couldn’t do all I wanted to do so I had to stick with the basics and felt really bad about that because my really awesome swap partner was paired up with me for her first swap. I dropped the ball by comparison; I sent a great book (I think) and a super soft all cotton 500 thread count pillowcase with some embroidery - it just seems so slim now. She really outdid herself. But I must admit that my package arrived at my door at just the right time - while creature comforts can’t really comfort a breaking heart they sure can make it a little easier to swallow.
She really went over the top and I can’t express how much it touched our hearts. And it was all in the timing. Coincidence? No. Providence? Yes. I love God’s providence. 1 2 3
I still need to get the last of our I’ll Trade You . . . Book Swap gifts in the mail. I was hoping to mail out all our packages at once, but I am still waiting on one item to arrive (and it should have arrived yesterday). the children have really been excited about this. Keep your eyes peeled for the next I’ll Trade You . . . swap.

Grateful for Graces last blog post..We Will NOT Be Homeless!
As your swap buddy, I must say I certainly was NOT disappointed in any way, and I’m so glad that my box was something that made your day a little better. My first swap was certainly a powerful one, and I’m glad, beyond all, to have made a new friend.
