I was awakened by this the other day:
“Oh good grief! It’s a dead spider. It’s not like it’s Aragog for Pete’s sake!”
A recent conversation between myself and the older children about some schooling:
“Do you remember the United States notebooks you started back in ‘06 before we had to enroll you al in the schools?”
with a great lack of enthusiasm and in unison: “Yeah”
“Well, I pulled them from the shelf, we are going to resurrect them and complete them this year as it goes well with this year’s history and geography studies.”"Oh so we get to study with the undead.”
From the 4 year old
“Papa! Papa! They’re swimming backwards on a boat!”
Oh. You mean they’re rowing, CowBoy?
“Yeah, backwards on a boat!”
Also from the 4 year old:
“And the judges are named Paula, and the other one, and Simon Cow.”
As he plays with his Playmobil knights
“King Arfur is a SuperDude. And the ladies are dudettes.”
“Woohoo! It’s time for my vocabuwary words.”
From Princerella, the 7 year old:
“Who are Team Edward and Team Jacob? I’m on Team Michael Phelps. Boy, howdy, can he swim!”
And I almost forgot tonight’s funny from Bairno at 21 months today. While laughing at his siblings silly knock knock jokes at supper he must get in the fun too with:
“Knock Ock! WHO!?”
and then loud laughter because he was so funny.
I am sooooo bringing all of them to live with ME, thankyouverymuch!
