I’ve been giving myself a headache this evening staring at my computer screen for far too long formatting file after file after file. I am sitting here on a not so comfy chair (I really need a good desk chair) cushioned by my round bottom with my knees drawn up and crossed at the ankles. My arms are resting on my knees as I type. My lower back is hurting and my left shoulder is not going to wait another week to go back to my crack-my-back-ter. But if I sat properly with better posture, I am sure I would not be in so much pain at the moment. I am sitting like this to stretch my back for some relief. My last visit with the masseuse was a bit of a revelation for me, well not really, it only confirmed what I already knew: my back muscles are so tight from years of needing help that this is going to take a while and may be a “it’s gonna get worse before it gets better” kind of thing. The CMB-ter can not even do much yet until the muscles relax enough. That shiatsu pressure stuff is awesome until she gets to one particular spot and then I want to jump off the table and grab the ceiling for dear life. See, as the numbness goes away the pain returns, rather, I can feel it again.
DOINK!
My hubby is in the den being all health smart and exercising and doing push-ups and sit-ups and I am sitting here dreaming of chocolate and peanut butter. I should be good and do the former, but the latter seems a better choice right now. So two scoops of double chocolate ice cream with a spoonful of peanut butter on top is calling my name.
DOINK!
I still have a bit more to do to some of our school pages, but they will be up soon. I had hoped to get them up today, but it will most likely be tomorrow after I run the daily errands and go fight the bank a bit.
DOINK!
We should be getting our tax money very soon. Sadly, between some debt payoff, desperate clothing needs for almost all of us, school needs for next year it is basically all spent accounted for before it has arrived. We have always tried to do something at least slightly fun with a wee bit of the money, but I think this year will be different - no fun money, all responsible.
The children were counting on bike repairs and a few other similar type money moments, but we have a bit more spreadsheet work to do before we make a final decision. It just is not enough to cover it all. Hey, at least I don’t owe what we are getting back. WOOT! That’s good. I was even hoping to be selfish and sneak in BlogHer this year, but that is way too much. Unless of course you all want to buy all your Amazon stuff through our affiliate link and get us some funds and I am so loving these BlogHerAds!
DOINK!
Hear that? That. There it went again. It’s that double chocolate ice cream and peanut better again.
Later.

Since we got a laptop, I’m using my kitchen counter as a desk and a bar stool as a desk chair. My old comfy desk chair is sitting in the back room collecting cat hair. Do you want it?
I cannot offer office furniture but I can remind you that you are invited to Atlanta for the BlogHer thingy in October. It would be fun!
