Planning

I’m trying to get ahead of it this year instead of be on or behind. Thanksgiving dinner is planned – it’s the usual. I just have to wait until payday to do the grocery shopping.
I want to get ahead with the Advent plans this year. I don’t want it to be overwhelming, over the top, or even busier than Advent usually is for us, but I want to do something different this year. Something new. It needs to be family friendly, meaning it needs to be something all ages can participate in for the most part. I’m thinking of doing a Jesse Tree again, but space is an issue. Bookshelves are covering walls now, so there’s no real good place to hang anything either.
I also want to approach it from both directions, the religious Advent season that begins the Sunday after Thanksgiving, November 29th then with the calendar countdown December 1 to 24th.
What are you going to do?

Wow! Talk about behind. I’ve been neglecting my visits here. I’m blaming the move and the computer. I don’t think it liked leaving Texas.
Anyway, it’s late, but we are using A Glorious Coming to make a Jesse Tree. My friend is using this free resource: Journey to Bethlehem.
I hope whatever you decided that you are having a delightful season.
