I can not believe that it was just a mere two years ago that I was rejoicing in the beautiful birth of my sweet baby boy and fighting for my life at the same time.

Life is so precious.
Thank you, God, for the gift of this precious child in our lives.
We are having some withdrawals tonight as SmockDaddy was gone during the day for job number one and is gone all evening with job number two. We will be officially celebrating this birthday on Friday evening.

Oh, how scary! I didn’t know you’d had such a fright after his birth - it makes some of the things you’ve been through this year that much more poignant. I admire your strength to deliver at home! I don’t think I’d have been able to do it.
