- Little Robin Red-breast
. . . sat upon the ground?
I know, I’ll stop now.
Yesterday’s photo is this little robin I saw hoping around in my front yard eating plump worms the rain had brought to the surface. I am sorry to say I did not get a good shot of the worm in his mouth.
Today’s photo is Blue.

We are broke out with the fine feathered type here also. We finally have blue birds in the blue bird house and a house wren in the garage. Yesterday the wren made its way into the house. Chaos insued. I had to chase it out the sunroom door while the children posed as directional beacons. AHHH Life in the country.
Oh you better start feeding those bird, mine are fatter than yours.
I have to agree that the poor robin does look a bit scrawny.
What happened to the cool thing that linked to our last blog post. I liked that…
Yes, that poor robin is a bit wimpy, maybe she just laid her eggs or maybe she is tired of fighting the cat who sleeps under the bird feeders or maybe he is one of the young ones I have seen flapping around these past few days. But I assure you, there are some extremely plump birds in my yard.
OH, and the linky-luv quick working after I upgraded to WP2.5 and I haven’t had time to make that a priority.
BTW, you guys should go in to your cpanel and upgrade if you haven’t - just be sure to backup first. Or IM me and I’ll do it later.
Props to you for making my site so much more visually interesting.
We just had a naturalist from one of the state parks come and talk to our 4H group about bird watching. I never really cared much one way or another about bird watching until her talk. We love looking and finding all the different birds just in our back yard.
Hope y’all didn’t get all the flooding down there.
Enjoy this nice cool weather, the summer heat will be here before you know it.
