Baking Mix Substitute
Ingredients:
5 cups flour
1-1/2 tablespoons baking powder
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon cream of tarter
1 cup shortening (Crisco)
Directions:
1. Combine all dry ingredients in a bowl.
2. Cut in shortening until mix resembles corn meal.
3. Store in a dry container for up to six months or freeze for up to a year.
