I dare you NOT to laugh!

I realized tonight that I don’t laugh much anymore. It is not because I am depressed. I am not. It is not because I am sad for other reasons. I am not. It is not because I do not find things funny. I do. I miss my friends that made me laugh. I miss getting out. I stay in too much and do not give my brain enough of the proper balance that comes in the form of laughter and fun. I may be a bit of a humor snob at times and prefer not to get involved with jokes or blogs that poke fun at the expense of others, but there are times when I can not help but laugh. I came across a video tonight that proved worthy of loud laughter and a few claps I could not contain. I also did not remember how good laughing makes me feel. I wish I were not so busy all the time with one thing or another. Maybe I will make a date with myself once a week to sit down and search out funny videos. This particular video I found reminded me of how much I miss the show Whose Line Is It Anyway?

Because the one I have just posted in my sidebar - I dare you NOT to laugh!

  1. Oh, honey, I wish you lived closer. I’d have you laughing till you peed your pants! And my humor is usually at the expense of someone…..ME! ;)

  3. You could laugh at me. Close your eyes and imagine this fat lady climbing into a Jeep Wrangler with a 3″ lift and 33″ tires. If that doesn’t make you laugh, you’re officially dead.

  4. Or try this one: Sarah-Fey whacks Simon on the head with a placemat last night. Because, of course he will not stop talking. He looks at me and very seriously says, ” I assume she will be punished.”

  5. Karen - I have a very strong notion that we’d both need some Depends.

    Kay - that poor guy.

Holley - while I would never laugh at that image I totally was referring to you and your crew when I mentioned missing the laughter. Send Simon to my house please. I need to lock Simon and Iain up in a room together - maybe they would wear out there vocal chords and give the two of us a break. You know, for maybe a day. Oh, and tell him, “HA!” but I would have rather reflexively whacked him a second time or maybe thrown some mashed potatoes in his face. Just because I am all mature like that.

  6. You should just go ahead and laugh at me. I do. I start laughing when the right foot leaves the ground and keep laughing until the seat belt is buckled. It’s a hoot.

  7. THAT was an incredibly awesome video. Wow. Have you seen the Bacon one? We love it SO much at my house…
