Oh, no! I tensed up so much reading that! Poor Bairno! Poor mommy and daddy and siblings! You know, though. . . that’s one thing the breastfeeding books usually leave out–how helpful nursing is for injury assessment. Thankfully we haven’t had a bit-through-the-tongue incident, but we’ve had our share of noonie-aided calming and exams. *hugs to all*

Everyone – thanks so much for his well wishes. He is feeling better and choosing to eat a few more things, but that hole in his tongue still looks gross.
