Who knew? This took some serious time, but I do not do things lightly. Usually when I head out to do something new I take a big bite. Some say more than I can chew, but no – I learn, I do, I finish, I show. I also tend to fuss and fret or fume a long the way filling the cuss jar to the rim at times with some projects, but I still learn and love it. I got a little invite from BethanyActually to join the cartooning group at flickr that she started.
Here I have painted the picture (px by px) that is currently in my sidebar. Here’s a link to the original in my flickr (in case I take the one in my sidebar down someday). I am quite pleased with the outcome. A lot of the people uploading to the pool are doing some really great stuff. I still have to learn how to do a few things and my program is a bit limited on some of the filters. The next big thing I really want to learn how to do is design and draw from scratch.

This was a fun project. I plan to do more, but maybe not such large projects. I still have a lot to learn about PhotoShop, and I can’t wait to learn it. I only have the little program, but I so wanna get the real thing.
I also want one of these. I keep thinking how awesome it would be to have this for pattern brainstorming and designing. OH. MY. STINKIN’. HECK.* the fun and work I (think) I could do. And now with my Vista Laptop (I’m falling in love with what I can do on this machine) – I am such a techno geek. Just call me Geek Girl.
Anyone wanna pay me some money to do some photo work for you? I can do a lot of other things already. Then I can get my heart’s desires faster. Bwahahaha.
*Thanks to Heather, I’m saying this all the time now instead of other things.

That is a great photo of you two. But, KnowTea has my glasses?!?!
I’ve been looking for a pair of Malcomb-X’s for quite some time.
Too cool.
Dutchman – you know that if things are too quiet at your house (and they must be if your commenting) then you are welcome to come enjoy the noise over here at SmockLady Lane.
