Busy, busy, busy

Princerella
I’ve got sticky notes around about what I want to blog about and drafts galore I need to finalize, but I. am. just. busy. Let’s face it, People, while I have any energy and am not spending every minute over the commode I do the priorities. I’ve been working hard to get us ready for starting up with school (I hope Monday). I’m waiting on a few things, if they don’t arrive in time, we’ll just have a slow start.

The goal was to start hard and heavy and keep it up until the baby comes and then take it easy from Thanksgiving to Christmas, then hit it hard again. We’ll see. Anyway, I put the to do list up at the homeschool blog (which will soon undergo a transformation).

In the meantime, here’s some pics from the Summer Fun Day two weeks ago at Princerella’s Physical Therapy Clinic. Enjoy.

  1. I consider myself melted, twice. :)
Good luck with your list, mama. And when do you move?

  2. Well, we are still working on that. We don’t know. We are praying hard we get to just stay here. We aren’t able to buy the house, but we may have talked the owner into letting us stay another year. I really don’t want to move now, pregnant or later, with a brand new baby. So we will see. We’ve not been able to find anything else around here anyway.

I’m dying to see pics of your new place. It sounds wonderful!

  3. Wow…she’s really exquisite. She really does melt me every time she sets foot in our Sunday School room. I tried hard to go to bat for a free (or significantly reduced price) water slide blow-up thingie for her birthday, but I should’ve known better, knowing who I was dealing with. He and your landlord might be long-lost twins.

  4. HA! on the twin thing, may be. Thanks for trying. We’ve got one from West Monroe - we just have to get up early Saturday morning to get it back to them by 8:00am. But she’s worth it.

We only do big first birthday parties and the big 5 (It’s the whole hand!). Then all the other ones are just family and close friends - and those can (well, used to be able to) get pretty big in themselves. Parties are usually a little overwhelming for young children anyway. After 5 they can have a one or two friend get together for cake and such and then have a huge blowouts for the big milestones - 13, 16, 18, & 21!

  5. Aw… I love kids in black and white! They look extra angelic.

  6. Seein the Cowboy like that makes me forget all about the horseshoe cake and those mischievous eyes.
